The bunk bed is made out of solid natural pine finished in pine with a slatted base, the static frame is bolted together making the bunk bed a solid construction. The sprung flex mattresses are hand made in the UK, 13.5g sprung unit with polyester fillings both sides, medium comfort with stitch bond cotton fabric. The memory foam sprung mattresses are hand made in the UK, memory foam & polyester fillings on a sprung unit with medium comfort with comfy fabric. The mattress fabric can change colour or style anytime. The bunk bed is self-assembly. Ladder can be positioned either side of the bed. Bed size W83, L182, H141cm. Clearance between floor and underside of bed 20cm. We cannot deliver on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holidays. We can deliver to all UK mainland addresses. We previously supplied, like everyone else on the internet cheap imported beds. These came complete with a painted finish. The problem is that, just like a skirting board the paint chips and flakes off, making for an unsightly finish in a couple of months. Most customers like the natural look, the product can be used with no further treatment. However if you want to apply a finish it is super easy peasy. Firstly we strongly advise you assemble the product first, this ensures you are happy with the quaility and makes it easier to apply the finish. Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability. We even use staple less staplers in the office! &#######xA0; For this reason, we only&#######xA0;source our solid timber from FSC and PEFC approved forests. We continually strive for environmental sustainability. No Cheap Plywood Base Slats Here. Solid slats are more durable and provide greater levels of support than sprung slats, which are often made using cheap woods and finishes like Veneers, Laminate and MDF. The thickness of these materials are less than half the density of our solid slats. A common misunderstanding is that the movement of sprung slats provide support. The opposite is true as continuous movement weakens the frame and wears down your mattress. Providing uneven support for your body that significantly deteriorates over time. Never settle for less than solid slats for your bed. All our base slats are SOLID PINE, extra wide (70mm) and extra thick (19mm). This will include who is delivering, when and all tracking information. Sorry we do not deliver to Channel Islands or any other Offshore location. The return service is not free, it is the buyers responsibilty to arrange the return. We can arrange a collection for you for a charge of &#######xA3;30. Tree house bed that’s been hand made and is solid. Full size single bed space up and down. May need a touch up of paint mainly on the stairs. I think I still have the paint in the loft. This bed has been built in the house and doesn’t fit out of the patio doors with the roof on. It would probably need a joiner to come dismantle the roof off carefully, but the holes where the screws are have been filled. Been told that’s not a problem it will come out. It is extremely heavy need a few people to lift the base. Other option is to cut the top off and use that as one bed. Or cut the top off and then re assemble with some post connectors. Also I have heard some horror stories of people not putting beds like this together properly and then collapsing and hurting the child. So please make sure it is put back together safely. It’s had 2-3 kids at a time in the top playing and it is a very sturdy bed if assembled correctly. Doesn’t include mattress but does include jungle bedding set if you would like it.
