Superior quality Gautier brand bunk bed structure with 2 beds

This bunkbed has been in our family for the last 12 years and was used for my 2 boys from age 8 to 17. In terms of quality, it is the top of the line of bunkbeds with a very strong structure and no cheap stuff; as a consequence the 3 main panels forming the structure of the upper bed are quite heavy. The brand is Gautier and they only manufacture top-end furniture. It is obviously used, but still in excellent condition and ready for a next step in a family looking for quality and safety for their children or young adults. The main pic describes the whole set-up. The second picture only mentions the parts of the set-up that are included. The other pics show the structure etc. The full set-up is divided up into two independent parts: the main structure comprising of the upper platform and bed, and the lower bed (independent to the main structure) that I have positioned in another room as a full bed on its own. Both beds fit a full-size single bed mattress not a child’s mattress. 1 The main structure. 206 (length) x 103 (width) x 164 (height) cm with headroom of 120cm below upper bed. Very good condition, quite heavy, composed of 3 main panels (one on each side plus the bed base) which are connected by the bottom of the upper bed and 2 side panels. This structure stands alone and is not connected to the second bed below. My kids growing up, I reinforced the upper bed support as shown on pic to ensure max security for a strong teenager 6ft tall and 82kg. Perfect set up for a student and I’ve had happy lodgers in this room over the last 3 years. 2 The lower bed. 200 x 100 x 64cm. The bed structure is in excellent condition, but the slatted base is home-made with heavy duty metal corners to support it. The reason for this is that during our last move the slatted base was damaged and the original supporting elements were lost. However, it is a fully functional bed and we have been using it regularly for years in that condition. 3 Making it higher. Headroom becomes 143cm below upper bed which easily accommodates an adult. The original set-up was designed for children, but with my boys growing up I had to ensure the desk below the upper bed was still useable for them and I designed a way to make the system higher, allowing normal sitting condition for an adult (see pics). This bit can easily be removed as it is not affixed to the structure which is simply locked into it. As we had no room for the side ladder in the first place, we never used it (it is brand new) and I designed a make-home ladder that can be included for free if you are interested. But the side ladder is included in the deal. It is available and part of the deal, but it can’t be used in its present condition as we are missing the cupboard cabinet to which it should be secured (the cabinet was damaged during our last move-in). It is not especially demanding and only requires a couple screwdrivers. If you leave close to Richmond in London where the bunkbed is, we can envisage I come to your place to set it up myself subject to further agreement. Unless you have some experience in furniture assembly, I can wait for you to come over and I’ll show you how to dismantle (and re-assemble) the upper structures and stand-alone lower bed; or I can disassemble it on my own ready for collection.
