Trio Double Bunk Bed By Sleepland Beds®. 3ft Single Over 4ft Small Double. The Sleepland Beds Trio triple bunk bed with stairs and storage in an oak finish. This is a 3ft single over 4ft small double. As with all Sleepland bunk beds, when built it is safe, strong and super sturdy. Independently tested and officially certified as passing all safety standards. The staircase is reversible, you can fit it on either side of the triple sleeper. The storage in the stairs goes right to the back of the bed, the lowest is the deepest at around 3ft deep. Mattresses are not included as standard as you may not need any, and it’s a personal preference. They can be added if required, descriptions are below. The build quality is rock solid with no movement. There are no sharp edges, the designed is rounded. We previously supplied, like everyone else on the internet cheap imported beds. These came complete with a painted finish. The problem is that, just like a skirting board the paint chips and flakes off, making for an unsightly finish in a couple of months. Most customers like the natural look, the product can be used with no further treatment. However if you want to apply a finish it is super easy peasy. Firstly we strongly advise you assemble the product first, this ensures you are happy with the quaility and makes it easier to apply the finish. Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability. We have a passion for sustainability, this stretches from the pine we source to our packaging. We even use staple less staplers in the office! &#######xA0; For this reason, we only&#######xA0;source our solid timber from FSC and PEFC approved forests. We continually strive for environmental sustainability. No Cheap Plywood Base Slats Here. Solid slats are more durable and provide greater levels of support than sprung slats, which are often made using cheap woods and finishes like Veneers, Laminate and MDF. The thickness of these materials are less than half the density of our solid slats. A common misunderstanding is that the movement of sprung slats provide support. The opposite is true as continuous movement weakens the frame and wears down your mattress. Providing uneven support for your body that significantly deteriorates over time. Never settle for less than solid slats for your bed. All our base slats are SOLID PINE, extra wide (70mm) and extra thick (19mm).
