Paintwork has some scuffs on wood edges but the overall appearance is quite smart and the oak ladder is in perfect, beautiful condition. Because it is such a nice piece, if you wanted you could restore to perfect condition with a coat of paint. The drawers underneath slide on the floor (no runners) so you can fill with books, toys etc. Very solid design with allen key bolts.
